Our Team
Michelle Srih
Clinical Supervisor
Registered Clinical Counsellor
I’m a trauma-informed Clinical Counsellor, Supervisor, Coach, Yoga Teacher, and Psychedelic Integration Specialist with a deeply integrative approach to mental health and wellbeing.
Before becoming a Therapist, I worked as a Human Resources Business Partner in Vancouver’s technology and creative industries, including roles with Electronic Arts, Pixar, Hootsuite, WildBrain, and Vancouver Film School. That chapter of my life gave me a deep understanding of workplace stress, burnout, leadership challenges, and the pressure many high-performing people quietly carry.
I began my clinical career providing evidence-based psychotherapy, with advanced training in EMDR, supporting people experiencing anxiety, trauma, and addiction. In those early years, my focus was helping clients build safety, resilience, and practical tools for lasting change.
Over time, my curiosity expanded toward the relationship between mental health, the body, and expanded states of consciousness. I pursued additional training in complementary and consciousness-expanding modalities including Reiki, Kundalini based energy work, Therapeutic Shamanism, Theta Healing, and Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT). I also had the privilege of working within Health Canada’s legalized psychedelic therapy program, supporting clients through preparation and integration
As my practice evolved, I began blending my clinical training with my work as a yoga teacher and Ayurvedic coach. Today, I bring together evidence-based psychotherapy with Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Jungian Depth Psychology, Hypnosis, and Nature-Based Therapy.
My work is warm, collaborative, and grounded. Together, we work to understand your inner world, regulate your nervous system, and help you reconnect with meaning, purpose, and self-trust.
I’m of Indian heritage and was born in the United Kingdom. My cultural background and personal daily practices are rooted in Ayurveda, which deeply shapes how I understand rhythm, balance, and wellbeing. As a divorced parent who has experienced single motherhood, I bring lived experience to this work and feel truly honoured to support people through life transitions, identity shifts, and relationship changes.
Outside of my professional work, you’ll find me spending time with my daughter, family, close friends and dog. I love reading, writing, hiking, running, paddle boarding, traveling, playing musical instruments, practicing yoga and spending time in nature.

Perhaps you’ve done the deep work before, only to find that your culture, your identities, your spirituality, or your trauma were not welcomed or understood. You might be tired of explaining the nuances of your lived experience to counsellors who cannot see the whole picture.
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with mixed Swampy Cree, Japanese, Afro-Jamaican, and Scottish heritage. As a 2SIQ, trans, neuroexpansive (AuDHD, C-PTSD), and disabled clinician, I weave a rich intersectional perspective into my work. I bring my whole human self into our sessions so that you can finally do the same.
An Integrated Path to Healing
Every session is a collaborative design, blending Western clinical modalities with Indigenous and cultural practices that honour your lineage. We bridge the gap between traditional talk therapy and holistic energy work.
I offer two distinct pathways for our work together: Holistic Counselling and Indigenous Holistic Healing (a traditional practice separate from clinical counselling). Depending on your needs, our time together may include:
Somatic Embodiment: Moving beyond the head and into the body to listen to and understand what your body is communicating.
Parts Work & Inner Child Healing: Working with the different parts of yourself or younger versions of you that may be reacting from past experiences. Learning to honour those parts and deepen trust, so you can process past experiences
Indigenous Sound & Energy Healing: Using the drum, rattle, and brushing off to break up heavy or stuck energy, allowing it to move in a grounded way.
Therapeutic Shamanism: Blending journeying and ancestral healing practices with western approaches.
Movement: Shaking, stomping, or intuitive flow to ground and release what no longer serves you.
You don’t have to choose between Indigenous healing and clinical support. While my Indigenous Holistic Healing offerings are a separate traditional service, both paths are held with the same level of care and integrity.
Whether you need a space to vent and be witnessed, or you are ready to process deep wounds, I will meet you exactly where you are.
Let’s discover your unique gifts and path, together.

Associate Clinical Counsellor
Registered Yoga Teacher
I am deeply passionate about helping individuals reconnect with themselves and discover new pathways to healing and joy.
My educational journey began with a double major in Psychology and Criminology from Simon Fraser University (SFU), which laid the foundation for my understanding of human behaviour and the complex systems that influence our lives. Currently, I am pursuing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, where I continue to refine my skills and deepen my knowledge of therapeutic practices.
Beyond my formal education, I bring a diverse set of tools to my practice, including Yoga Teacher Training, Yoga Therapy training, Trauma-Informed Care, and Coaching. These modalities inform my holistic approach to therapy, where I aim to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I believe in the power of blending body, mind, and spirit, and I integrate these elements to help clients build a deeper connection with themselves.
My approach is rooted in empowerment. I want my clients to leave each session feeling more authentic, grounded, and capable of navigating life’s challenges with greater ease. At the same time, I believe in the power of vulnerability and softness—my goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where individuals can explore their emotions, confront difficult truths, and take steps toward personal growth.
I strive to bring a warm and inviting energy to every session, ensuring that my clients feel comfortable and safe. Through our work together, I hope to spark "glimmers of joy"—those small moments of clarity, hope, and light that remind us of the possibility for change. My commitment is to challenge you when necessary while ensuring you always feel supported and valued.
Each individual’s journey is unique, and I am honoured to walk beside you as you explore and heal in a way that aligns with your authentic self.
