Our Team

Michelle Srih

Clinical Supervisor

Registered Clinical Counsellor

I’m a trauma-informed Clinical Counsellor, Supervisor, Coach, Yoga Teacher, and Psychedelic Integration Specialist with a deeply integrative approach to mental health and wellbeing.

Before becoming a Therapist, I worked as a Human Resources Business Partner in Vancouver’s technology and creative industries, including roles with Electronic Arts, Pixar, Hootsuite, WildBrain, and Vancouver Film School. That chapter of my life gave me a deep understanding of workplace stress, burnout, leadership challenges, and the pressure many high-performing people quietly carry.

I began my clinical career providing evidence-based psychotherapy, with advanced training in EMDR, supporting people experiencing anxiety, trauma, and addiction. In those early years, my focus was helping clients build safety, resilience, and practical tools for lasting change.

Over time, my curiosity expanded toward the relationship between mental health, the body, and expanded states of consciousness. I pursued additional training in complementary and consciousness-expanding modalities including Reiki, Kundalini based energy work, Therapeutic Shamanism, Theta Healing, and Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT). I also had the privilege of working within Health Canada’s legalized psychedelic therapy program, supporting clients through preparation and integration

As my practice evolved, I began blending my clinical training with my work as a yoga teacher and Ayurvedic coach. Today, I bring together evidence-based psychotherapy with Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Jungian Depth Psychology, Hypnosis, and Nature-Based Therapy.

My work is warm, collaborative, and grounded. Together, we work to understand your inner world, regulate your nervous system, and help you reconnect with meaning, purpose, and self-trust.

I’m of Indian heritage and was born in the United Kingdom. My cultural background and personal daily practices are rooted in Ayurveda, which deeply shapes how I understand rhythm, balance, and wellbeing. As a divorced parent who has experienced single motherhood, I bring lived experience to this work and feel truly honoured to support people through life transitions, identity shifts, and relationship changes.

Outside of my professional work, you’ll find me spending time with my daughter, family, close friends and dog. I love reading, writing, hiking, running, paddle boarding, traveling, playing musical instruments, practicing yoga and spending time in nature.

Janae Dunlop

Associate Clinical Counsellor

As a 2SIQ (2Spirit, Indigiqueer), trans, neuroexpansive (audhd, c-ptsd), and disabled counsellor with mixed swampy cree, japanese, and Afro-and scottish-jamaican heritage, I bring a rich and intersectional perspective to my practice. My life experiences deeply shape my work, enabling me to offer culturally-informed and holistic practices in a warm and inclusive space for deep healing and growth.

My Approach & Lived-Experience

My approach is birthed out of my own inner healing work and experiences navigating complex systems. With a background in nursing from 2018, I offer holistic, intersectional care that centers the experiences of racialized, 2SLGBTQIA+, disabled, and neurodivergent individuals, while welcoming all who seek depth in their healing. This work and my own journey navigating complex relational trauma, anxiety & depression, eating and body image challenges, intergenerational wounds, and cultural disconnection, taught me the importance of holistic and decolonized healing.

This foundation leads me to embody an indigenized and decolonized worldview driven by justice, liberation, embodied wisdom, and ancestral connection. My practice is grounded in the belief that everyone carries the innate wisdom for healing. Thus, I am not here to show up as an 'expert'. I am here to walk alongside you as a partner, honouring your inherent wisdom and capacity for self-healing.

Transformative & Integrative Offerings

When working with me, you can expect a truly transformative and collaborative experience that aims for depth and integration. This approach actively dismantles conventional power dynamics and strives to create a space where you can bring your full self, even the parts you may not yet accept.

I offer virtual and in-person sessions tailored to your individuality, including body-mind healing or somatics, inner child healing and parts work, ancestral-spiritual practices, psychedelic preparation & integration, and intersectional care.

Life Beyond Work

I currently reside in so-called vancouver on the unceded and traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) , and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time in the woods, in bodies of water, on mountains, in ceremony, and with my cats, Russia and Sochi. I have ever-evolving hyperfixations, currently I love reading, watching traitors, hide-tanning, and beading.

Jackie Sammartino

Associate Clinical Counsellor

Registered Yoga Teacher

I am deeply passionate about helping individuals reconnect with themselves and discover new pathways to healing and joy.

My educational journey began with a double major in Psychology and Criminology from Simon Fraser University (SFU), which laid the foundation for my understanding of human behaviour and the complex systems that influence our lives. Currently, I am pursuing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, where I continue to refine my skills and deepen my knowledge of therapeutic practices.

Beyond my formal education, I bring a diverse set of tools to my practice, including Yoga Teacher Training, Yoga Therapy training, Trauma-Informed Care, and Coaching. These modalities inform my holistic approach to therapy, where I aim to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I believe in the power of blending body, mind, and spirit, and I integrate these elements to help clients build a deeper connection with themselves.

My approach is rooted in empowerment. I want my clients to leave each session feeling more authentic, grounded, and capable of navigating life’s challenges with greater ease. At the same time, I believe in the power of vulnerability and softness—my goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where individuals can explore their emotions, confront difficult truths, and take steps toward personal growth.

I strive to bring a warm and inviting energy to every session, ensuring that my clients feel comfortable and safe. Through our work together, I hope to spark "glimmers of joy"—those small moments of clarity, hope, and light that remind us of the possibility for change. My commitment is to challenge you when necessary while ensuring you always feel supported and valued.

Each individual’s journey is unique, and I am honoured to walk beside you as you explore and heal in a way that aligns with your authentic self.
